This jacket is good in many ways. I loved the cut, size, feel and price. Unfortunately the buttons make it impossible to wear/keep. I read the reviews about noisy buttons and thought, “What? How can buttons be noisy and how can it be that big a deal?” But then I got the jacket and understood immediately! Like, as soon as I took it out of the bag I heard the cascading noise from the buttons. It gave me memories of the sound of those “rain sticks.” It isn’t like “normal” denim jacket buttons where it all seems like one piece coming through the material. Instead, it’s like a “button post” put through the jacket material and a “button topper” is stuck on the end - creating two pieces of metal that click together with the slightest movement. Ugh it truly was distracting and made noise with every slight move. So it’s got to go back. If you solely needed a jacket for photos, this could work. If you have any plans to actually wear it around, I would pass.
