There are several sweaters that I would love to make in this book! Too bad that cotton denim yarn has gotten harder to find, as the designs in this book are classic! Cannot see anyone using up this yarn to make a beach blanket, tho! If I find one of those I would reclaim the yarn to make the gorgeous Fisherman or Gansey sweaters in this book! Obviously, the patterns could be made with other yarns, but please note that allowance has been made for shrinkage of the cotton yarn, so make a smaller size. At any rate, this is a lovely book to have just for the photos! Do not know why I waited so long to buy this book, however the price has gone down over the years, so maybe that is why.
