Description
This jean may have a relaxed fit, but it doesn't relax on the job. The indigo jasper jean has 10.5-ounce, 77 percent cotton, 21 percent polyester, 2 percent spandex. The black jasper jean is just slightly different: 10.5-ounce, 78 percent cotton, 20 percent polyester, 2 percent spandex. Work-flex durable stretch technology makes crouching, crawling, and climbing all the more easier. It also improves stretch and recovery to help keep the jean's shape even after a hard day's work. The jean is a mid-rise, sits just below the waist, and has a relaxed fit through the hip and thigh. Its boot-cut leg fits over your boot nicely, and with five pockets, you've got room for everything. A contoured waistband prevents gapping the back.

Wore them for workI ordered a size 12 short. What I like about these pants: color is good. Hip/thigh/rear sizing is good for someone with a projecting tush -- that is I need depth not width. The waist doesn't gap that much. I have a lot of movement in these pants and I only had to hem them a bit to get a good length. What I don't like about these pants: back pocket rivets. The fabric is thin and could be more cotton rich than it is right now. I just don't like how polyester feels against my skin. There could still be more room in the crotch/rear. There is a little too much room in the thigh -- these would be good for someone with a more 'saddlebag' shape than I have. These are, however, a lot better than what I have been finding. So it's about 9mos after I purchased these jeans and I've run into a pretty obnoxious issue. They are great for 6-8mos, and then they start having issues with shrinking. It's like the fabric is worn out, and suddenly they start shrinking lengthwise. This means that all of a sudden the crotch seam is really shoved up there and it becomes very uncomfortable, very fast. But, since I love the fit and look of these jeans, I'm trying a new method -- buying them a size up and seeing if they shrink down to the perfect fit. These are the relaxed fit jeans I have been looking for! They are the first I have ordered that fit through the waist and were actually loose through the thigh. I ordered 2 pair in 2 different sizes (6/8) and both work, this is due to them running a bit large but having a good hip to waist reduction, and leave room in the thighs. If you're looking for "skin tight" jeans this is NOT the style for you. Definitely better fit for "pear-shapes" that are looking for a more "loose-fit" jean. Relaxed fit allows plenty of room in the butt/thigh areas. Somewhat stretch to material allows freedom of movement without binding. Waistline is a bit more "fitted" so there isn't that gap in the back. Will be ordering a second pair.I'm 5'6 1/2, 179 pounds. I carry my weight evenly over my body. I bought both the indigo and the lighter wash pants for construction work. The pants fit in the waist (34" on a good day, 35" to feel comfortable) The legs is where I encountered an issue. There is an extreme amount of baggy material around the hips, upper and outer thigh area. I was hoping with a wash and high heat it would some what shrink- They didn't shrink. I work 10 hour days and after work the pants, especially the lighter wash, had lost its shape. These jeans are not thick. they will show every lovely lady bump you have on thighs and butt whilst bending over in the day light.More importantly, I bought both colors expecting the fit to feel and be the same. they didn't appear to be the same at all. the indigo wash was A LOT more fitting than the lighter wash in the same size and style, size 14 Regular. I expect consistency in this brand. I have purchased this brand before for many work items, and never been disappointed.on a side note...I have two pairs of women carhartt overalls that have lasted me years! I cannot find them any more. Now they have women fashion overall bibs. Carhartt- bring back the utility bibs for women who work in the field. We need comfortability and fit rather than fashion skinny pant overalls which leave nothing to the imagination when bending over and squatting.I work in construction, so it's really important that I can bend down and nice around without worrying about my underwear peeling out for all to see. These jeans are perfect!! Now they may not be a going out jean as they are be a bit frumpy, but it's exactly what I want in a work jean.I'm 5'4" 130lb with 29" waist and 36" hip. The normal Size 6 fits perfectly. The size chart didn't steer me wrong, but my usual size is 7 in must jeans. These are nice, simple, basic, unadorned jeans -- nothing fancy, but plenty comfy and seemingly durable. The jeans themselves fit as expected and are quite comfortable for the most part -- however, the waistband is tight. I have purchased three different pairs of Carharrt jeans and found the legs and things to be on the loose side but the waistband to be on the tight side. The jeans themselves are loose-fitting, but getting the waist buttoned was a bit of a challenge. Aside from the tight waist, they're just what I wanted and expected. Although the picture shows these as sitting below the waist, I felt like the sat closer to my natural waist. Its a thinner jean despite being so far longer lasting. If i go petit is high water on me but regular im stepping on it just at the seem on the bottomEsta un poco justo de la cintura pero es perfecto para no ir tan apretadaDie Hose ist sehr schön und hat eine gute Qualität. Sie passt genau. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
